Where can I check the result or status of a UP tender I've bid on?

Tender results, including technical bid evaluation and financial bid opening, are published on eTender UP against the original tender or NIT number.

What's the difference between manual and e-tenders in Uttar Pradesh?

Manual tenders require physical submission of bid documents to the issuing office, while e-tenders are submitted entirely online through eTender UP using a registered Digital Signature Certificate.

Can AI tell me whether I should bid on a UP tender or skip it?

Yes — Bidzen's AI Go/No-Go Decision scores a tender against your eligibility, past win history, and the resources required, with every input clause-cited back to the source document.

How can I check if I'm eligible for a specific UP tender before bidding?

Match your department registration class, category, and financial turnover against the tender's published eligibility criteria, or run the document through Bidzen's AI Eligibility Check for an instant, clause-cited compliance match.

Do Nagar Nigam and Gram Panchayat tenders appear on eTender UP too?

Yes — most Nagar Nigam and Gram Panchayat tenders in UP are published on eTender UP under the Urban Development or Panchayati Raj department codes, alongside state and district tenders.

Q: Are Micro and Small Enterprises exempt from EMD on UP tenders?

Uttar Pradesh Government Tenders: eTender UP Portal Search & Eligibility Guide

Uttar Pradesh government tenders are published on eTender UP (etender.up.nic.in), the state's official e-procurement portal, alongside department-specific listings from UP PWD, UP Jal Nigam, UPPCL (power), and UP Awas Vikas Parishad. Every tender Bidzen surfaces is pre-analyzed for eligibility, risk, and go/no-go fit — cited back to the exact clause it came from.

Live Uttar Pradesh tenders can be searched directly on Bidzen or on eTender UP itself. Every result on Bidzen comes pre-tagged with eligibility, risk, and go/no-go status.

Not sure you qualify for a UP tender you're evaluating? Bidzen's AI Eligibility Check confirms in seconds — every match cited back to the exact clause in the tender document.

How Uttar Pradesh Tenders Work

eTender UP is the state's central e-tendering system, but PWD, Jal Nigam, UPPCL, and Nagar Nigams (municipal corporations) also publish tenders through it under their own department codes. Being India's most populous state, UP has an especially high tender volume across roads, water infrastructure, power distribution, and urban development — central tenders located in UP (CPWD, NHAI works) run through separate central portals, not eTender UP.

MSME (Udyam) Preference in Uttar Pradesh Tenders

Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) with valid Udyam registration are exempt from paying EMD on most UP government tenders under GFR Rule 170 and the Public Procurement Policy for MSEs, 2012. Departments must also source at least 25% of annual procurement from MSEs, with sub-targets of 4% for SC/ST-owned and 3% for women-owned enterprises. The Udyam certificate must be submitted with the technical bid.

Uttar Pradesh Tender Process — Step by Step

Find the tender — search live UP tenders on Bidzen, or check eTender UP directly by department or NIT number.

Read the tender notice in full — note the EMD amount, completion period, and registration class/category required.

Confirm eligibility — match your department registration class and turnover against the tender's minimum criteria.

Prepare the technical bid — registration certificate, experience certificates, EMD proof, and any additional documents the notice specifies.

Prepare the financial bid (BOQ) — priced bill of quantities in the tender's required format.

Submit through eTender UP before the deadline, using your registered Digital Signature Certificate.
