Q: How do I find TSECL (power) tenders specifically?

Q: Are Micro and Small Enterprises exempt from EMD on Tripura tenders?

State Guide

How Tripura Tenders Work

The Tripura e-tender portal is the state's central e-procurement system, but PWD, PHE, and TSECL also publish tenders through it under their own department codes. Central tenders located in Tripura (CPWD, BRO, and defence/border-infrastructure works given the state's international border) run through separate central portals, not the state e-tender system.

MSME (Udyam) Preference in Tripura Tenders

Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) with valid Udyam registration are exempt from paying EMD on most Tripura government tenders under GFR Rule 170 and the Public Procurement Policy for MSEs, 2012. Departments must also source at least 25% of annual procurement from MSEs, with sub-targets of 4% for SC/ST-owned and 3% for women-owned enterprises. The Udyam certificate must be submitted with the technical bid.
