Madhya Pradesh Government Tenders: MPTenders Portal Search & Eligibility Guide

Madhya Pradesh government tenders are published on MPTenders (mptenders.gov.in), the state's official e-procurement portal, alongside department-specific listings from MP PWD, PHED/Jal Nigam, and the state power distribution companies. Every tender Bidzen surfaces is pre-analyzed for eligibility, risk, and go/no-go fit — cited back to the exact clause it came from.

How Madhya Pradesh Tenders Work

MPTenders is the state's central e-tendering system, but PWD, PHED (water), and power distribution companies also publish tenders through it under their own department codes. Central tenders located in MP (CPWD, NHAI works) run through separate central portals, not MPTenders — worth knowing before searching the wrong system.

MSME (Udyam) Preference in Madhya Pradesh Tenders

Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) with valid Udyam registration are exempt from paying EMD on most MP government tenders under GFR Rule 170 and the Public Procurement Policy for MSEs, 2012. Departments must also source at least 25% of annual procurement from MSEs, with sub-targets of 4% for SC/ST-owned and 3% for women-owned enterprises. The Udyam certificate must be submitted with the technical bid.

Madhya Pradesh Tender Process — Step by Step

Find the tender — search live MP tenders on Bidzen, or check MPTenders directly by department or NIT number.

Read the tender notice in full — note the EMD amount, completion period, and registration class/category required.

Confirm eligibility — match your department registration class and turnover against the tender's minimum criteria.

Prepare the technical bid — registration certificate, experience certificates, EMD proof, and any additional documents the notice specifies.

Prepare the financial bid (BOQ) — priced bill of quantities in the tender's required format.

Submit through MPTenders before the deadline, using your registered Digital Signature Certificate.
