Where can I check the result or status of a Karnataka tender I've bid on?

Tender results, including technical bid evaluation and financial bid opening, are published on KPPP against the original tender or NIT number.

What's the difference between manual and e-tenders in Karnataka?

Manual tenders require physical submission of bid documents to the issuing office, while e-tenders are submitted entirely online through KPPP using a registered Digital Signature Certificate.

Can AI tell me whether I should bid on a Karnataka tender or skip it?

Yes — Bidzen's AI Go/No-Go Decision scores a tender against your eligibility, past win history, and the resources required, with every input clause-cited back to the source document.

How can I check if I'm eligible for a specific Karnataka tender before bidding?

Match your department registration class, category, and financial turnover against the tender's published eligibility criteria, or run the document through Bidzen's AI Eligibility Check for an instant, clause-cited compliance match.

Do Karnataka municipal corporation (BBMP and others) tenders appear on KPPP too?

Yes — most municipal corporation tenders in Karnataka, including BBMP, are published on KPPP under their own department codes, alongside state tenders.

Q: How do I find BESCOM (power) tenders specifically?

BESCOM and other Karnataka discom tenders are published on KPPP under their own department codes, and can also be searched on Bidzen by department name.

Q: Are Micro and Small Enterprises exempt from EMD on Karnataka tenders?

Yes — Udyam-registered Micro and Small Enterprises are exempt from paying EMD under GFR Rule 170 and the Public Procurement Policy for MSEs, 2012, provided the Udyam certificate is submitted with the technical bid.

Karnataka Government Tenders: KPPP Portal Search & Eligibility Guide

Karnataka government tenders are published on KPPP — the Karnataka Public Procurement Portal (eproc.karnataka.gov.in) — alongside department-specific listings from Karnataka PWD, KUWSDB (water/sanitation), and BESCOM/other discoms. Every tender Bidzen surfaces is pre-analyzed for eligibility, risk, and go/no-go fit — cited back to the exact clause it came from.

Search Live Karnataka Tenders

Live Karnataka tenders can be searched directly on Bidzen or on KPPP itself. Every result on Bidzen comes pre-tagged with eligibility, risk, and go/no-go status.

Not sure you qualify for a Karnataka tender you're evaluating? Bidzen's AI Eligibility Check confirms in seconds — every match cited back to the exact clause in the tender document.

How Karnataka Tenders Work

KPPP is the state's central e-procurement portal, but PWD, KUWSDB, and the power distribution companies (BESCOM and others) also publish tenders through it under their own department codes. Central tenders located in Karnataka (CPWD, NHAI, and significant PSU/IT/aerospace-sector tenders centered on Bengaluru) run through separate central or PSU-specific portals, not KPPP.

MSME (Udyam) Preference in Karnataka Tenders

Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) with valid Udyam registration are exempt from paying EMD on most Karnataka government tenders under GFR Rule 170 and the Public Procurement Policy for MSEs, 2012. Departments must also source at least 25% of annual procurement from MSEs, with sub-targets of 4% for SC/ST-owned and 3% for women-owned enterprises. The Udyam certificate must be submitted with the technical bid.

Karnataka Tender Process — Step by Step

Find the tender — search live Karnataka tenders on Bidzen, or check KPPP directly by department or NIT number.

Read the tender notice in full — note the EMD amount, completion period, and registration class/category required.

Confirm eligibility — match your department registration class and turnover against the tender's minimum criteria.

Prepare the technical bid — registration certificate, experience certificates, EMD proof, and any additional documents the notice specifies.

Prepare the financial bid (BOQ) — priced bill of quantities in the tender's required format.

Submit through KPPP before the deadline, using your registered Digital Signature Certificate.
