Where can I check the result or status of a Bihar tender I've bid on?

Tender results, including technical bid evaluation and financial bid opening, are published on eProc2 Bihar against the original tender or NIT number.

What's the difference between manual and e-tenders in Bihar?

Manual tenders require physical submission of bid documents to the issuing office, while e-tenders are submitted entirely online through eProc2 Bihar using a registered Digital Signature Certificate.

Yes — Bidzen's AI Go/No-Go Decision scores a tender against your eligibility, past win history, and the resources required, with every input clause-cited back to the source document.

How can I check if I'm eligible for a specific Bihar tender before bidding?

Match your department registration class, category, and financial turnover against the tender's published eligibility criteria, or run the document through Bidzen's AI Eligibility Check for an instant, clause-cited compliance match.

Do Bihar Panchayat and municipal tenders appear on eProc2 too?

Yes — most Panchayat and municipal body tenders in Bihar are published on eProc2 under their respective department codes, alongside state tenders.

Q: Are Micro and Small Enterprises exempt from EMD on Bihar tenders?

Bihar Government Tenders: eProc2 Bihar Portal Search & Eligibility Guide

Bihar government tenders are published on eProc2 Bihar (eproc2.bihar.gov.in), the state's official e-procurement portal, alongside department-specific listings from Bihar PWD (Road Construction Department), PHED, and BSPHCL (power). Every tender Bidzen surfaces is pre-analyzed for eligibility, risk, and go/no-go fit — cited back to the exact clause it came from.

How Bihar Tenders Work

Note: Bihar's portal is commonly searched simply as "eproc2" — a shorthand for the state's second-generation e-procurement system, distinct from the older eProc platform some contractors may still reference.

eProc2 Bihar is the state's current central e-procurement portal, but the Road Construction Department, PHED, and BSPHCL also publish tenders through it under their own department codes. Central tenders located in Bihar (CPWD, NHAI, Railway works) run through separate central portals, not eProc2 — a common point of confusion when searching just "Bihar tenders."

MSME (Udyam) Preference in Bihar Tenders

Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) with valid Udyam registration are exempt from paying EMD on most Bihar government tenders under GFR Rule 170 and the Public Procurement Policy for MSEs, 2012. Departments must also source at least 25% of annual procurement from MSEs, with sub-targets of 4% for SC/ST-owned and 3% for women-owned enterprises. The Udyam certificate must be submitted with the technical bid.
