State Guide

How Andhra Pradesh Tenders Work

APTenders is the state's central e-procurement portal, but R&B, PHED, and the power distribution companies (APSPDCL/APEPDCL) also publish tenders through it under their own department codes. Central tenders located in Andhra Pradesh (CPWD, NHAI, and port/PSU-sector works given the state's coastline) run through separate central or PSU-specific portals, not APTenders.

MSME (Udyam) Preference in Andhra Pradesh Tenders

Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) with valid Udyam registration are exempt from paying EMD on most Andhra Pradesh government tenders under GFR Rule 170 and the Public Procurement Policy for MSEs, 2012. Departments must also source at least 25% of annual procurement from MSEs, with sub-targets of 4% for SC/ST-owned and 3% for women-owned enterprises. The Udyam certificate must be submitted with the technical bid.
