Banking Sector Tenders November 2026 | Live Government Tender Listings

Why Banking Sector Tenders Get Rejected at the Technical Stage

These are the most common rejection reasons bidding teams run into — all avoidable when the tender is read properly before you commit.

📄

Documentation Errors

Missing certificates, expired registrations or wrong formats are the top reason Banking Sector bids are rejected before evaluation even starts.

🎯

Eligibility Missed

Turnover, similar-work and experience thresholds buried across tender volumes are misread, and estimating hours go into bids the company could never win.

⏳

Corrigenda & Deadlines

Dates, EMD terms and specifications change through corrigenda. Bids built on the original notice miss the revised requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions about Banking Sector Tender Bidding

What qualifies as a Banking Sector tender?expand_more

Tenders issued directly by Banking Sector or the organisations under it, published on GeM, CPPP or a departmental portal. Bidzen groups them here regardless of the portal they appear on.

How to register as a vendor for Banking Sector?expand_more

Submit the required registration form along with your company registration documents, GST certificate, PAN and experience certificates on the department's vendor portal, or register on GeM for its GeM procurement. Bidzen's eligibility check flags the registration each tender needs.

What is the EMD requirement for Banking Sector tenders?expand_more

EMD is typically 2–3% of the estimated tender value, submitted as a Bank Guarantee, fixed deposit or online through the portal. Submitting the wrong instrument is one of the most common rejection reasons — the NIT always states the accepted formats.
